Most great engineers were musicians and music fans before they were engineers or producers. It’s crucial to genuinely love music and be a music fan before working on music yourself. Being a musician is a huge plus on it’s own. I started out playing the piano since the age of 6, and this led to me having the love and respect I have for music and musicians today. I recorded in garages and produced my teenage years and became more passionate about it as time went along. I graduated from the Art Institute in Los Angeles with a Bachelor Degree in Audio Production.

I worked at many studios until I became the in-house engineer and manager at Sonarx Studios. I’ve had the pleasure of working with several artists from various backgrounds and genres from classical and ballads to hip hop, pop, and rock. Any project I get, whether its a grungy garage recording or a professional studio recording, I make it my goal to listen and understand what kind of emotion the artist wants out of the song and try my best to get it there. At the end of the day music isn’t science and math. It’s emotion, feel, and vibe. It’s something we enjoy.

If you are interested in recording or mixing services, email me and describe your situation so that the best quote can be put together for your project. Whether it’s a single, an EP, or a full length album don’t hesitate to email or call. Looking forward to hearing from you.
